About this car
The 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole presents a striking example of Italian engineering, finished in Bianco exterior paint with a rare factory Boxer scheme and paired with a Nero leather interior. Powered by a V8 engine paired with a manual transmission and RWD drivetrain, this example shows 28,120 miles and remains in original factory specifications throughout.
Recognized for its exceptional condition, the car earned the Platino Award and the Coppa Macchina Award at the Ferrari Club of America National Meet at Road America. A full binder of service records documents maintenance since new, including a major belt service performed in 2015, confirming ongoing care for this low-production model.
Produced from 1982 to 1985 with only 3,790 units built, the 308 GTS Quattrovalvole stands as one of the most iconic Ferraris of its era. The vehicle arrives with its original books, original spare tire, original window sticker, and tool kits intact.

The Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole debuted at the 1982 Paris Motor Show with a removable roof panel and a transversely mounted 2,927-cc V8. The engine used four valves per cylinder, Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection and Marelli Digiplex electronic ignition. European-market output was 240 CV, while specifications varied in markets requiring additional emissions equipment. Power was delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
The GTS Quattrovalvole can be identified by its louvered radiator-exit panel in the front lid, revised grille with rectangular driving lights and electrically operated mirrors carrying small Ferrari badges. Production ended in 1985 when the model was replaced by the 328 GTS. According to Ferrari’s official model archive, 3,042 examples of the 308 GTS Quattrovalvole were produced within the chassis-number range 41701 to 59265. This figure excludes every other version of the Ferrari 308.
