About the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 992

Production: 2019–present
Cylinders: 6
Powertrain: Combustion
Body: Coupe

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992 generation) is a high-performance variant of the iconic 911 lineup, introduced in 2022 as part of the latest 911 iteration. Production is ongoing as of 2023, with exact numbers not publicly disclosed, though Porsche typically limits GT3 RS models to maintain exclusivity, often producing fewer than 5,000 units per generation. This rarity appeals to exotic car collectors seeking investment-grade vehicles, with early units already showing strong value retention and appreciation in secondary markets.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine, the GT3 RS delivers 518 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. It achieves 0-60 mph in approximately 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 184 mph. Unique features include extensive aerodynamic enhancements, such as a massive rear wing and front dive planes, optimizing downforce for track performance. The car also offers adjustable suspension and lightweight components, emphasizing its racing pedigree. As a pinnacle of Porsche’s engineering, the GT3 RS 992 holds historical significance in continuing the legacy of the RS badge, a symbol of track-focused excellence since 1973.
