About this car
The Ferrari Amalfi is a front-mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive grand touring coupe introduced on July 1, 2025, as the successor to the Ferrari Roma. Named after the coastal Italian town, the Amalfi retains a 2+2 seating configuration and was designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre under the direction of Flavio Manzoni. Power comes from a revised 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 640 metric horsepower—631 SAE horsepower—at 7,500 rpm and 760 Nm, or 561 lb-ft, of torque between 3,000 and 5,750 rpm. The engine has a 7,600-rpm maximum speed and sends power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Ferrari states that the Amalfi accelerates from zero to 100 km/h, or 62 mph, in 3.3 seconds and reaches 200 km/h, or 124 mph, in 9.0 seconds. Its maximum speed is 320 km/h, approximately 199 mph. The coupe has a published dry weight of 1,470 kilograms, or 3,241 pounds, when equipped with lightweight options. The Amalfi incorporates brake-by-wire technology with Ferrari’s ABS Evo controller, recalibrated electric power steering and electronically controlled magnetorheological dampers. An active rear wing automatically selects Low Drag, Medium Downforce or High Downforce positions. In its highest-downforce configuration, the system generates 110 kilograms of aerodynamic load at 250 km/h. Inside, the Amalfi uses a digital instrument panel, a centrally mounted horizontal touchscreen and a separate passenger display. Its steering wheel restores physical controls, including a red engine-start button, while retaining Ferrari’s manettino driving-mode selector.
