About this car

A masterpiece of German engineering, the 2024 Porsche 911 Dakar is a machine that captivates as much with its performance as it does with its aesthetics. Clothed in a sleek GT Silver Metallic exterior, its modern interpretation of an iconic silhouette promises an enticing drive, confirmed by an initial acceleration from 0 to 60 in just 3.2 seconds. Its interior is a cocoon of sumptuous black, offering a cocoon of comfort to contrast the raw, rip-roaring power of its 4.0L flat 6-cylinder engine. With 503 horsepower under the hood and a top speed of 191 mph, it commands the road with a confident, poised grip that's enhanced by its 8-speed Doppelkupplung and superior RWD drivetrain- a charismatic blend of performance, power, and prestige.

About the Porsche 911 Dakar 992

Production: 2023–2024
Est. units built: 2,500
Cylinders: 6
Powertrain: Combustion
Body: Coupe

The Porsche 911 Dakar, part of the 992 generation, was introduced in 2023 as a limited-edition off-road variant of the iconic 911 lineup. Inspired by Porsche’s rally heritage, particularly the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally-winning 911 Carrera 3.2 4x4, it combines the model’s signature performance with rugged capability. Only 2,500 units are planned for production, making it a rare find for exotic car collectors, with demand likely to drive value appreciation over time.

Powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, the 911 Dakar delivers 473 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed PDK transmission and all-wheel drive. It achieves 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds, despite a lifted suspension offering 6.3 inches of ground clearance—2 inches higher than a standard 911. Unique features include a fixed rear spoiler, underbody protection, and optional Rallye Design Package with retro liveries. Built on the Carrera 4 GTS platform, it also offers off-road modes and optional roof-mounted accessories like a tent. Its limited run and historical nod to Porsche’s rally legacy position it as a significant collectible in the 911 family.
