About this car

The 2022 McLaren GT Luxe pairs striking Ceramic Grey bodywork with a Jet Black leather interior, delivering supercar performance in a grand touring package. Its mid-mounted 4.0L twin-turbo V8 produces 612 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, routed through a 7-speed double-clutch automatic transmission to the rear wheels for precise, responsive handling.

Active suspension, adaptive drive modes, and a tuned touring setup ensure composed road manners alongside track-ready capability. Butterfly doors with soft-close operation, a panoramic glass roof, and a rear lip spoiler accent the sleek coupe silhouette, while LED lighting, rain-sensing wipers, and power-folding heated mirrors add everyday refinement.

About the McLaren GT

Production: 2019–2023
Cylinders: 8
Powertrain: Combustion
Body: Coupe

The McLaren GT, introduced in 2019, is a grand tourer designed to blend performance with comfort, marking McLaren's entry into the luxury GT segment. Production began in 2019 and continues as of recent data, with exact production numbers not publicly disclosed but estimated to be in the low thousands, aligning with McLaren’s limited-run philosophy. This rarity appeals to exotic car collectors seeking exclusivity.

Powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the GT produces 612 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It achieves 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 203 mph, balancing high performance with a more refined ride than McLaren’s track-focused models. Unique features include a lightweight carbon-fiber structure and increased luggage space (14.8 cubic feet), catering to long-distance driving. While not tied to a specific historical milestone, its significance lies in expanding McLaren’s portfolio. Value trends show steady appreciation for early models due to limited production and brand prestige, though no notable special editions have been released as of 2023.
