About this car

The 2016 Porsche 911 R is a striking rear-wheel-drive coupe finished in White with a Black interior. Powered by a 4.0L H6 engine paired with a manual transmission, this low-mileage example shows just 1,904 miles and delivers the precise, driver-focused character that defines the R variant.

Measuring 178.4 inches in length, 72.9 inches in width and 50.2 inches in height, the car maintains the classic 911 proportions while offering seating for two. Premium unleaded fuel powers the flat-six, with EPA estimates of 14 city and 20 highway mpg, and the vehicle was built in the USA.

Every detail of this 2016 Porsche 911 R reflects its limited-production intent, from the manual gearbox to the RWD drivetrain configuration.

About the Porsche 911 991

Production: 2011–2019
Cylinders: 6
Powertrain: Combustion

The Porsche 911 (991) is the seventh generation of the iconic 911 sports car, produced from 2011 to 2019. It marked a significant evolution with a longer wheelbase, improved interior technology, and a shift to electric power steering. Over its production run, approximately 233,000 units were manufactured across various trims, including Carrera, Turbo, GT3, and GT2 RS models, making it less rare than some earlier 911 generations but still highly sought after by collectors for specific variants.

Engine options ranged from a 3.4L flat-six in base Carrera models (350 hp) to the 3.8L twin-turbo in the GT2 RS (700 hp), with top speeds exceeding 210 mph in high-performance trims. The 991 introduced hybrid technology with the 918 Spyder-inspired 911 GT3 R Hybrid (limited production). Special editions like the 911 R (991 units made) and 50th Anniversary Edition are particularly coveted for their rarity and historical significance, often commanding premium prices. Values for well-maintained examples, especially manual transmission GT3s and limited-run models, have appreciated steadily, reflecting strong collector interest in this generation’s blend of modern engineering and classic 911 heritage.
