The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, introduced in 2013 as the open-top variant of the Aventador LP 700-4, was produced from 2013 to 2022. As part of the Aventador lineup, which saw around 11,465 units total across all variants, the Roadster is estimated to account for a smaller fraction, enhancing its rarity among exotic car collectors. Exact production numbers for the Roadster are not publicly disclosed, but limited availability contributes to its appeal.
Powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine, the base Roadster delivers 700 horsepower, with later variants like the Aventador SVJ Roadster reaching 770 horsepower. It achieves 0-60 mph in approximately 3 seconds and a top speed exceeding 217 mph, depending on the model. A standout feature is the removable carbon-fiber roof panels, offering a unique open-air experience. Special editions, such as the Aventador J (a one-off concept) and the SVJ Roadster, are particularly sought after. With production now ceased, values are trending upward in the collector market, often starting above $400,000 for well-maintained examples, reflecting strong demand for this iconic Lamborghini model.
