About this car
The Ferrari 458 Speciale, produced between 2013 and 2015, is a high-performance variant of the Ferrari 458 Italia, designed as a track-focused model. Approximately 3,000 units were manufactured, making it a relatively rare model in Ferrari's lineup, which adds to its appeal among exotic car collectors. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 engine, delivering 597 horsepower at 9,000 RPM, making it one of the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 engines Ferrari has produced. The car achieves 0-60 mph in just 3.0 seconds and has a top speed of over 202 mph.
Key features include advanced aerodynamics with active flaps for improved downforce, a lightweight construction using aluminum and carbon fiber, and Ferrari’s Side Slip Control system for enhanced handling. The 458 Speciale holds historical significance as one of the last naturally aspirated mid-engine Ferraris before the shift to turbocharging. Its rarity and performance credentials have driven strong value appreciation in the collector market, with well-maintained examples often commanding premiums at auctions. A limited-edition Aperta (convertible) version, with only 499 units produced, further elevates its exclusivity and investment potential.
